Battenkill
Steve Conner, Seth Haskell, Dan Winston and myself rode the Tour of the Battenkill on Saturday. 62 miles of pavement/dirt through beautiful farmland. It's a great race, I highly recommend it. Smiling Steve took an excellent fourth place in the cat 4 race.

For his efforts he was rewarded with this handsome portrait of Ulysses S. Grant:

Dan had a top 20 finish and then managed to run 2 miles from the car to the finish line to catch the end of Seth's race. When he got there he was fresh as a daisy:

Afterward we enjoyed a healthy post-race meal of burgers and fries and reveled in our accomplishments. It was a good time all around, until Seth got tired of Steve's bragging and unleashed the Fists of Fury:

Steve is fine, and should recover in time for Turtle Pond. Next year maybe we can get a few more of these jerseys at the race.

Honorary Paris-Roubaix ride - Searsmont, April 11th
Leaving from the Post Office parking lot in Searsmont at 9 AM. See the ride map here - Honorary Paris-Roubaix route
It sounds like there may be two differently paced groups for the ride this year - one with time constraints and more miles, the other more casual, looking to get in some early season group miles on a fun route.
In either case, hope you can make it.
